Summer what I like and don’t like
Summer is almost over, and I can’t wait! Autumn is my favorite season and my favorite time to travel. Some places are filled with color, and the weather is that perfect combination of cold and breezy.
I’m just not a fan of summer
It’s when my birthday happens, which is nice. However, it’s always so hot, especially here in Arizona. I love swimming, but not just so I can show off a new swimsuit or reveal as much skin as possible, and I can do that without the heat. I do have several swimsuits, a few can be found at Amazon.
Let it rain
The one thing I like about summer is monsoons. It may just be because I live in the desert and we get little rain that it seems like the most perfect and beautiful thing to experience. It’s calming, peaceful, and there are puddles.
Driving into the area where I live, I see dips in the parking areas that get filled with water, and watching parents standing by as their children splash in the puddles is one of the sweetest things that happens throughout the year.
Fourth of July
The Fourth of July is another time when people-watching is at its best. My neighbors always put on quite the show with fireworks. Their dogs hate it, but their kids go crazy for it. I sit outside and allow myself to be engulfed by the bright colors bursting in the sky and the excitement mixed with the screaming projectiles. The next few days, the air will be hazy, and my allergies will be going crazy, but it’s always worth it.
I never miss the summer; I certainly don’t long for it. It’s my least favorite season, but I wouldn’t change a thing about it.
